Helly Wins Again!

HELLY won yesterday at Deauville in a 15,000 Euros event, only ten days
after her latest victory. She waited early on before showing a good turn of
foot to have the race in the bag over a furlong out. The only slight
disappointment was that she was bought after the race. However it is worth
pointing out that she has won over 50,000 Euros for her Owner George Haine
since the beginning of the year. A very smart acquisition by George exactly
12 months ago for just £7,000.
Rupert said "She has given us a lot of fun and is so honest and
consistent. The best of luck to her new Owners, if they have half the fun that
we've had, they'll be okay! I don't think any of us could have hoped for a filly
with only one eye, rated the equivalent of 66, to have such a profitable
year. Due to the success with Helly, George has very kindly accepted to buy
another French-bred filly, POSAVIYNA, that I purchased from the Aga Khan draft
on Monday. We'll look forward to seeing her out hopefully on the All-weather
at Chantilly in March".
