Racing In France

There are so many good reasons to be involved in French racing. For a start, you can expect a First-Class welcome on the race-course, when arriving to see your horse run. France Galop representatives are always polite, helpful and will point visitors in the right direction. The FRBC team (www.frbc.net) have representatives on all the Major French race-courses. They are a young, dynamic team who are there to give as much information and guidance as possible to Owners and Breeders. You won't be disappointed !

“Panoramique” restaurants give you plenty of space to enjoy lunch before and during the race-day, with excellent viewing, obviously, of the races as they unfold. As can be seen in the Gallery, French race-courses succeed in providing the ideal 'ambiance' for race-goers. You will experience the mixture of Style and relaxation combined when walking around. French race-courses provide a clean and safe environment for bringing children along too. The fantastic lay-out of race-courses such as, Clairefontaine, Compiegne, Craon, Vichy, on top of all the Parisian race-courses are perfect examples.

The recent addition of the ‘Salon des Proprietaires' has been a real bonus, enabling Owners to watch racing from inside a more private room if desired – similar to the Business Class lounges in airports. Here, there is extra comfort, a private bar service, a selection of Newspapers, access to the Internet, buffet lunch and quite regularly, televised racing from England and Ireland.
